This statue shows the image of Buddha just born. It is found in Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha. According to the legend, Buddha was born from under the right arm of Maya Devi and walked seven steps in six directions right after birth, and as the statue shows, pointed at the heavens with his right hand and the ground with his left, and said, "I am the Lord in heaven and on the earth."
